Excellent NZ images. I have been there twice, one beautiful country. I can't imagine going anywhere without my d800e, its not a heavy camera. My gosh, an dslr is to be used in mu opinion.

Larry

I live in Nelson, New Zealand and posted images on Steve Huff's site and Flickr of a trip I did to the West Coast this year with photos from my Canon 5D MK1 and 24-105mm lens and Fuji X100. I think just the Fuji or just the 5D wouldn't have worked. The 5D is too heavy with the 24-105 for hiking and the Fuji not versatile enough nor does it quite match the IQ of the 5D.

Probably an OMD -E10 would have sufficed with a couple of decent lenses or yes the RX100 MKIII.

Larry,

so, we have one week to go wherever in NZ. What would you suggest for this photographer who will have and a wife who doesn't like camping!?
