SL1/100D overexposure issue

Hey everyone!

I just bought a Canon 100D, I am enjoying it a lot, but I have noticed that it will overexpose images quite a bit as you go from 18 to 55 mm with its stock DC III lens. I have just reset the camera to factory settings. I have also checked and the diaphragm is working correctly.

Here is an example scene: first image is at 18 mm, 1/60 s, ISO 800. Second is at 55 mm, 1/30 s, ISO 6400. So it seems to bump up both the exposure time and the ISO.

Is this normal for this camera or is it faulty?
