thanks for the info - I use a D90 for landscape and portraits of the grandkids and I use panny's for vids - the panny can't touch the Nikon for flash and skin tones but it's well ahead for vids. I think all cameras have individual strengths and weaknesses it's just a case of finding the best to suit your needs and trying not to break the bank buying toys! The d7100 is already on my radar !
