Been two days now and I have tried reading as much as I can regarding photography , basics with the camera and limitations.

Based on this dpreview article

What I'm interested in now is for portrait and landscape photography ( including night shots or waterfall stuff )

What sony e lens do you recommend ? A good standard zoom that can cover all 3 areas that I want ? portrait landscape lowlight ? With better quality t han the kits.

Budget 500 usd below.

OR

If non sony, that requires an adapter around 100 - 120 usd for the adapter itself. And what lens would that be ?

Also the image converter ( sony ) , is it the best free option out there aside from lightroom? When I edit the raw file around 23mb + my macbook air slows down. Not sure if it's the program itself or my macbook air i5 2011 4gb ram is outdated already?

Btw this is a shot I made
