SONY EYE AF for Wildlife?

Hi all,

I know that the eye-Af feature is there for human eyes but I was wondering if the function would work on some birds or mammals eyes that are more human like than usual. For example some herons have eyes like this:https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=heron+eye&rlz=1C1GGGE_en-gbGB571GB571&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=hTaTU_LuKI2M7AaV9IDABg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1242&bih=642

or like a bird of prey such as goshawk:https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=heron+eye&rlz=1C1GGGE_en-gbGB571GB571&espv=2&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=hTaTU_LuKI2M7AaV9IDABg&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1242&bih=642#q=goshawk+eye&tbm=isch

or like a mountain hare

Anyway, I think you get the point.

I was hoping to use this feature on herons while on holiday to florida using the new A77 II and back home in Scotland on a few things aswell.
