a6000 with 16-50 vs RX100M3 in hand-held low light

I'm planning to buy a travel camera and the RX100M3 is naturally one of those I'm considering.

However for about the same price I can get an a6000 with the 16-50 kit lens and so I'm wondering how these two compare (ignoring the size factor, the RX100 won't fit in my jeans pocket anyway so I don't mind going a bit larger).

In particular I'm interested in knowing how these two will compare against each other in hand-held low light situations. Does the a6000's larger sensor and better iso performance help compensate for the fact the kit lenses is much slower than the RX100 lens?

TIA
