That's the purpose of the V3.  The sensor is a bit smaller than m43 but using the FT-1, you can use Nikon Dx and Fx lenses with most of their features intact.  If Nikon does make a large sensor mirrorless, it will probably operate like a V3 or a D4.  That way there is only a little learning curve.  With an adapter like the FT-1, a large sensor Nikon mirrorless camera will operate like a DSLR Nikon.  I really don't see any large sensor Nikon getting much smaller than the Df.  If Nikon is willing to eliminate the buttons (that pros really use), then the body can shrink somewhat.  I personally would not purchase a large Nikon mirrorless body unless it operates like a D800 or a D4.  I would actually like to see a Df with a D800 sensor.
