Actually it is a BSI-Cmos in the P7800 http://dpreview.com/products/nikon/compacts/nikon_cpp7800 The P7000-P7100 had a 10mp Ccd though.

I'm also hoping for a some sort of GX200 replacement. 1" would be nice. But all Ricoh seem to have so far is the 21-84mm zoom patent which is for 1/1.7" sensors.
