Press and hold the "Garbage Can" button on top of the printer located between the power switch and the LCD display. That will clear the memory in the printer and eject the paper.

Never knew that and and when working wireless that helps a lot than running back to the computer.

Looks like the R3000 has that same function.

You also need to clear the queue in the computer just as Hugowolf suggested. You need to take both actions to completely clear the computer queue and the printer's RAM queue.

I was assuming that the printer sent a signal to empty the computer printer cache.

It may do that, but in my case there is a bug in my system and my computer can't read the printer status. I would be curious to know if the button on the printer panel does purge the queue on the computer on a normal system.
