15mm f/5.6 AI regaining its bite

After switching recently to an FX body, the old (1976) 15mm f/5.6 AI regained its super wide 'bite' from the film era (which was lost on the D200). The extreme angle lets you capture simultaneously different stories while the almost complete lack of distortions makes you forget how wide it really is.

Images were taken this week in the Chicago loop. The challenge was not to fall for dramatic flare (all you have to do is tilt the lens to create one) but instead use it 'honestly' trying to capture the essence and feel of the various scenes. As always, no crop was used. What you see is just a bit more than what the finder had since the D700 does not have 100% coverage.
