Reassuring Carl, as one is on the way right now paid for by my nearly-good-enough copy of the DA18-135. Yes I lose the WR, but keeping silent focus and adding more range and closer closeups will compensate. The AF/MF switch implies I can use catch-in focus too, which I always want to try yet never pull off, despite owning plenty of manual primes. I believe thatfor me a single AF zoom will help the primes actually come out & play more often, as the choice will be clear between range and light grasp.  Additional zooms has always made me lazy.

Hope my copy is as good!
