The 6fps is another major noticeable upgrade.

D200 has better build quality, a smoother shutter, a larger viewfinder, MLU, and is overall a complete camera whereas the D70 feels too small and terribly limited in performance and features. In its day the D200 was an exceptional camera value for Nikon; as was the D70, D300, D700, D7000 and D800 (each challenged more expensive cameras in performance and features and moved Nikon forward in DSLRs).
