photo unfriendly cathedrals
1

I have been doing existing light photography of stained glass windows in old churches and cathedrals.
Normally I have no problems.
But Ripon cathedral asks for a £4 photograph permit.
And Durham cathedral bans all photography even during open tourist hours.
