SHG is great glass, but as you know anything bigger than the 14-35mm is tough to carry around.

The 50-200mm is fine for travel--small and lightweight for its range and very versatile. A big plus is that if it gets lost or stolen, it isn't the end of the world financially.

You won't get what it is worth on the market.  One trip or occasion will make the decision to keep it pay off.
