Where does the Sony RX100 III rank among the greatest pocket cameras the world has ever seen?

From a specifications point of view it is just about the perfect pocket-sized camera. It has a lens that is fast at both ends and goes to 24mm, a pop-up EVF, a 180-degree flip-up screen, and a new processor which will probably somewhat improve image quality, which was already excellent for its class in previous versions.  From a hardware point of view Sony pushed the camera about as much as physically possible. It badly outclasses the Nikon 1 cameras as a general  purpose camera, and the Canon G1 X II isn't pcoektable despite not even having an EVF. So I would guess that years from now this camera is going to be remembered as the one that really defined the modern-day standard for both image quality and versatility in 1.6"-think camera.
