With all the reports of overheating and forced shutdowns you can't count on the a6000 for video. It becomes completely unusable for a while.

Have not seen too many reports of overheating. Some people have gone out of their way to make it happen and even then it seems fine....edit...yes, in some circumstances it will overheat...rare though and much better than many cameras...my Pentax KX for instance overheats badly at times.

Again, the A6000 is a much lower level camera that does some things (including it seems HD video in some cases) better than the Gh4......for Video makers, the GH$ (that was a typo but come to think of it might be appropriate for those who are not video pros)... is MOSTLY better than just about anything.

Both have their flaws ...strengths and weaknesses.

Has Panasonic fixed the audio issue?
