That's not what I meant. I meant that the shots were taken with a 220mm focal length with aperture set to f/5.6.

You mean with the 1.7x extender attached to the front of the lens, correct?

I think Eamon though you meant FF equivalent focal length and depth of field.


End of day. From what I gathered, the test is showing that it can focus quickly and accurately at 220mm f/5.6 at 6 fps. Long way to go to find the actual limitation. This would be a lot more fun if only we'd see a 70-400 lens materialize, similar to the A-mount G one... The results from that one are *a*w*e*s*o*m*e*. Plus then that 1.7x adapted on it (vignets probably). By the time that happens, we'd have an A9000 camera, if Sony survives that long that is. They're back in the red again...
