I think the strength of the image lies in its horizontal layers.

My thought would be to maximize the effect by cropping the top right down to the top of the trees on the right, then cropping the bottom so that the green band of water is exactly the same "thickness" as the sky-band. The blue band of water then solidly anchors the composition.

Finally, a slight right-side crop brings the scene tantalizingly close to perfect symmetry; viewers would be powerless to resist scanning for slight irregularities. Results: Lots of face-time for your picture, and creation of an interesting symmetrical-echo situation -- the bridge and the stage upon which it is seen.
