Aircraft Deicing process

Recently got to experience first hand how they did this, never have been inside with it being done, lucky enough to be by the window at the wing.  This was in Denver (DIA), had my travel cam easily in my pocket, S110.

First was an initial spray of red/orange dyed fluid, sprayed on hot at high pressure to get all the snow and ice off.

Then they sprayed a final thicker layer on that won't run off as easy. The whole flight the fluid was seeping past the window. It's dyed green so they can consistently layer it on.
