My K-30 with 18-55 lens isn't powerfull enough for long range photos

I have the standard smc -dal 1:35-5.6 18-55mm AL that came with my camera but I find it's magnification isnt enough to take pictures of the mountains 60 miles away. I new to this and don't know the terms for things so if I use the wrong lingo thats why. So to get to my question ,I want to bring the mountains up closer ,and was wondering if a Pentax DAL SMC f/4-5.6 50-200 mm ED autofocus 53 mm lens would be much better . I read up on this lens but have no clue what they are saying because of all the technical terms.. I see one on ebay ( a WR not DAL) for $200.00 or the DAL one for $90.00  . I dont go out in the rain so the $90.00 would be fine if its got more zoom.

What is the difference between these 2 lenses?
