Canon 6D vs. Pentax K5IIs in low light performance
May 8, 2014

I am not trying to start an argument, but the K5IIs seems to be soooo close to the 6D in low light, and I'm not talking about jpg processings, but about the RAW output. Take a look here:

You can check this by yourselves and keep in mind that the Canon is 20 mpx, while the Pentax is only 16 mpx, so the Canon images seem more detailed because of the bigger resolution.

Otherwise it seems that there is no more than a half of stop difference between them in low light, or maybe less. Do you agree? Regarding the JPGs, the Canon 6D blows away the Pentax. What I want you to ask - if I use Photo Ninja, or other similar software, can I obtain similar results with the Pentax, as clean as the OOC Canon JPGs are?
