What's wrong with DxO Mark?
May 8, 2014

I read criticism here of reviews on DxO. I'm considering purchasing some lenses so I was hoping I could trust their ratings.

Can I?

I recently bought Nikkor's 85 1.4 G and am blown away by how much difference those two stops makes … and how small and light a prime is. I'm considering replacing my Nikkor 24-70 2.8G and 70-200 2.8G VRII with some fast primes from Carl Zeiss or Nikkor for use on my D800. I shoot everything.

If DxO is not reliable is there another comprehensive website that reviews and compares pro lenses and presents all the data in the slick searchable way that DxO does?
