If you are looking for the same look with a digital camera you could shoot RAW and post process to your liking. Photos from the RX100 are much more neutral with a more natural look than the photos I see in your link which have a more artsy, moody look. You could try some of the various filter and HDR modes which can be further fine tuned in camera. I can't help you much beyond that because my photography leans toward much more natural look and lighting.

Look at the picture, not the pixels
Miss use of the ability to do 100% pixel peeping is the bane of digital photography because it causes people to fret over inconsequential issues.
