Also with the massive resolution of MF, the maximum FPS would be limited and would not be practical to shoot sports, along with the massive storage space needed to store those files. You really didn't think this through before posting did you?

Years ago 12fps at 18mp was out of the question. Now based on mem buffers that are far advanced from when the 1dx was designed this is actually a reality. Canon can do this and do it well... The question is will they opt to compete in the pro MF market. One day we will be shooting sports at 30-50 mp at 15fps at 1/4000. My bet is that it won't be hasselblad who does this.
