Few people really need MF. Are you doing fashion editorial shots destined for large-circulation magazines? Are you shooting architectural shots for oversized glossy brochures and stockholder reports? Are you routinely printing larger than 24" x 36"?

Unless you are doing fairly high end work, stick with what you have, and if you want to buy something, get additional post-processing software or a Photoshop master class or .... I am astounded by the difference you can make with more sophisticated knowledge of post-processing.

If you are already sophisticated about color management, post processing, etc, and find that you need a capacity not already served by your existing camera, then buy.

I suffer from Gear Acquisition Syndrome and often have to remind myself that what I really need is Knowledge Acquisition Syndrome.    That doesn't keep me from daydreaming about the new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 Art.
