Curious, I'm still playing around with the AF settings, what do you use for portraits? Or moving portraits? Do you set to AF-A and have Face Detection ON? Zone setting? Or do you use AF-S with Flexible Spot AF point?

Fiddling to see what's best for my street candids.

Hey Dez, thanks.

For portraits, if the model is not moving I use AF-S and for movement AF-C. If the model is coming straight at me, most of the time I shoot in bursts using AF-C and no flash. However, in some cases I would use single frame, AF-C with flash----only for one to three frames. In all cases I shoot with flexible spot AF.

How about you, what do you use? I haven't tried wide focus because I am afraid it might not focus where I wanted it to be considering I normally shoot with extreme shallow depth of field.
