FZ200 goes birding in South-east Arizona

Ater much thought, I decided to leave the DSLR and long lens (for birds) and the Nikon V1 (for landscapes) at home and stick with the FZ200 for everything.  I really appreciated the light weight and not having to change lenses/cameras all the time and came back feeling I'd make the same decision again.  Here are a few shots from a really great trip!

Curve-billed Thrasher, DD Gamble ranch, near Portal, Arizona

Acorn Woodpecker, Cave Creek Ranch, near Portal, Arizona

Arizona Woodpecker, Cave Creek Ranch, near Portal, Arizona

Female Cardinal, Cave Creek Ranch, near Portal,l Arizona

American Avocet, Wilcox Water Treatment area, Arizona

Marbled Godwit, San Pedro Riparian Reserve, Arizona

Black-chinned Hummingbird, Mount Lemmon, Arizona

Gecko, Mount Lemmon, Arizona

Black-chinned Hummingbird, Mount Lemmon, Arizona

All shot as jpegs, with izoom enabled
