Sony's claims are probably true. They never said it would make a visible difference. The fact is I just don't understand where you high iso pixel peepers come from. Do you ever go out and take real photos or do you take test shots in dark environments and examine them at 100%? Is high iso quality the only thing that matters to you for bragging rights or something? Can't you appreciate the other improvements that have been made? This high iso obsession makes no sense to me at all.
