Birds. . .

Here is a couple photo's of cropped images taken through an 18-250mm Sigma lens on an SD1m. Not very good to say the least but a difficult and interesting start. Birds can be fascinating to watch and photograph but requires a lot more skill and patience than I expected in my first attempt at a local Migratory Bird Refuge. I had some difficulties with the lens on Auto-focus which was my first indication that problems may arise. Most all of the shots are highly cropped from the original pictures. The shutter speed was 1/100 sec at I believe f/13 at ISO 100.

Great Blue Heron

Snowy Egret

Western Grebe

White Faced Ibis
