Failed starry photos… why?

I set the manual focus at infinity but trees still turned out blurry. I had the camera on a small tripod and was using T duration of 15-20 sec so I didm;t touch the camera. Was it really just down to the camera moving on the tripod? What technique should I use to get the bike in the foreground sharp? Should I use a smaller aperture with a higher ISO or should I move further away from the bike? The XF27 was the widest lens I had access to. Regardless, I had a lot of fun experimenting.
