Panasonic needs to update the 100-300mm lens

I have been noticing some long lags in AF and recycle times lately, probably because I am demanding more of the lens.  I am also experiencing some long times to buffer on the GH2.  I got it very wet today shooting in the rain with no apparent ill effects.

I use the 14-140 Mk II a lot and love its speed and versatility.  Usually on the GX7.

I would be perfectly satisfied with a weatherproof  f/4, 300 mm prime  which would have very fast burst, AF and be capable of the fancy focusing on the GH4.  I think it would be a great long lens and a close-up lens for the stuff  I've been shooting here:

And it would be nice if the lens were easier to adjust (both MF and FL).  The static friction is way too large for the kinetic friction on the beast.

I really hope that Panasonic is listening to us!
