Thank you Steve,

You added valuable information to what Justice has provided. I have the A6000 on order with the 55-210 lens and knew the 315 mm equivalent would be very limiting for most wildlife photography.

Someone, I forget who, asked Justin to compare the IQ using the DH1758 compared with equivalent cropping, and I'm looking forward to those results partly because I was unable to buy the DH1758. Now I see that the TCon 1.7 is available, but the camera looks a bit unwieldy to me with both the 55-210 lens and TCon1.7.  I also learned from your post that "Clear Image Zoom" is available with the Sony NEX and the A6000 (I checked) and may be a better choice than cropping? Maybe almost as good as the TCon1.7?

When I receive my A6000 camera I plan to try out the Clear Image Zoom when needed for reach. The photos you provided from kgravett seem to show very acceptable IQ at 2X clear view zoom, and that would be 630mm equivalent, good for birds. The 315mm is usually sufficient for my butterfly photography. I am looking forward to seeing if I can capture birds and butterflies in flight with the above.
