Tokina 100mm or Tamron 90mm usd vc
Im about to purchase a macro lens for wildlife , flora photography but also (to a lesser degree) portraits . I currently have a nikon D5100 camera. Basically, after reading many reviews etc, it has come down to either the Tokina 100mm macro or Tamron 90mm macro usd vc. Obviously image quality is the most important factor. There are many excellent reviews of the Tokina which is cheaper but also of the Tamron which also won EISA best lens of the year 2013-2014. Any advice to help me decide is very welcome!
