Scott - Really nice shots. Been to all of these waterfalls. I had heard the UP still has a decent amount of snow in areas.

Outside of large piles and deep in some of the woods our snow is gone. But the temps have been very cool outside of one day were we got into the mid 70s.

Still a good amount of snow in the woods along Lake Superior Jim. Down in my area of Escanaba it's all pretty much gone. In fact I got my lawn done yesterday afternoon.

With the amount of snow we got this winter. The waterfalls in the UP are going to be good for awhile this Spring.

You plan on heading up this summer?

Scott

Hi Scott - I have got to fertilize the front yard this afternoon.  Was kind of hoping the temperature would go up from the low 40s.  At least the wind has died down.  I will do the back next weekend since I have trench to fill in where I put down conduit for a standby generator which was running away 2 Sundays ago when we got hit by a bad storm.

Got a lot going on at home this summer (outside painting primarily).  Plan on taking the northern circle route around Lake Superior in September.  Start at Sault Ste Marie and exit out south of Thunder Bay.  Will becoming down through MN and WI and should be heading near where you live.  Would really like to meet you so I will keep in contact as the summer progresses and advise you of our plans.  Plan on taking 2 weeks to make this trip.  Did the same trip back in 1967.  It was real wilderness up there at that time.  Suspect it has changed somewhat.
