Shooting JPG isn't so bad
2

Ever since I started photography with a Canon Powershot G1, I've shot raw for everything. Carefully processed raw files give better sharpness, allow you to recover highlights/shadows, and let you balance detail and noise reduction for high ISO shots.

Recently, though, I decided to flip my D600 into small/fine JPG mode to take some practice shots. I was rather surprised by how well the unprocessed JPG shots held up.

What do you think?
