And just for fun, with heavy sharpening, more than I would normally ever apply. The Aperture conversion is a bit harsh, but is very sharp. The Lightroom conversion is a bit mushy in the greens, and does appear a bit "flat". I actually ran the same photo through Photo Ninja (trial only, so I can't export) and... it does produce the best results IMO, both with color and sharpness. The Detail slider, in combination with sharpening, is very effective on this kind of image. I've been avoiding Photo Ninja because I want an all-in-one editor and image management tool, but the results really are excellent. Hmmm...
