Whether it is a big issue depends on the type of photography that you do.  For general daylight photography, the EVF is more responsive than in the video and is fine IMO. For low light, the frames per sec reduce and the EVF lags.  For the kind of pictures I take in low light (relatively static), it does not bother me.
