Sorry to hear that Shirley, but

there is a silver lining if you purchase the E-M1.

With your elbow issue the great advantage of the E-M1 is the weight/size reduction which can only help your situation. In fact every time I now pick up the E-5 it feels like a brick in compared to the E-M1.

You have probably read all the pros and cons of the E-M1 but once you get used to the EVF its a great little camera to shoot with. For your type of photography style I think you will love shooting with the E-M1.

As the Dpreview review states: "Bottom line: if you want to feel like you're shooting with a DSLR, but still want the size and agility of a mirrorless camera, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better option than the E-M1."

The main things I miss from the E-5 is battery life and dual card slots but both easily overcome with extra batteries and larger capacity memory cards.

Hope this helps and all the best.
