Why no 4/3rds lenses faster than F2.0

If I had room, I would have said 'A possible reason why Olympus never made 4/3rds lenses faster than f2'.

It seems that with digital cameras, lenses faster than f4 don't transmit all their light as the aperture open. It gets worse after f2.

This effect gets stronger as the pixel pitch gets smaller (maybe that's why Oly always had lower mp).

Not sure if anyone left on this forum is interested in this level of photography, but just in case ...
