worth it to invest in Sony a-mount if taking it seriously?

I currently shoot with the Canon system. Before I start, this is my website with my photography.

www.balancedphoto.com

Canon 6D
24-70 f2.8 L
Sigma 70-200mm 2.8

I had a chance to get a hands on with a Sony a99 and literally fell in love. The EVF was amazing and layout was very easy and comfortable for me. I'm working my way to have my photography grow and take it seriously as a wedding photographer, etc. I know its not too late to do a switch, yet. I did a lot of research and saw that not many pros use Sony systems. Is there a reason for it? I mean Sony does have the main lenses... 16-35, 24-70, and 70-200, etc all 2.8 and primes like 85 f/1.4.

Would it be a wise choice to invest seriously in Sony system? Or is the future for Sony in the professional level support very unclear.

If sony isn't going to drop their a-mount. Would the a-mount be a wise choice to look into for weddings over canon?
