D7100 Banding Issue...

Some sample photos

I can definitely get the D7100 to band by choosing 12-but RAW, shooting directly into window light and underexposing by 1-2/3 stops and pulling the shadows with a RAW converter.

I took some photos with the ISO and lighting conditions similar to the example shown above from betterfamilyphotos.com.

Here's the underexposed OOC JPEG.

Here's the 12-bit RAW file with the exposure pulled by 1-1/3 stops, and a shadow recovery of 30 in CaptureOne.
