I've been using my a6000 for a few days with the 16-70 on people and it's been outstanding. I can't/won't post the people pictures, and certainly the people don't move like the dogs, but I'm a happy owner so far.

Oops. I discovered that the 55210 required a firmware update to take advantages of all the capabilities of the A6000. I had not updated it when these shots were taken, so it's possible the lens was at a disadvantage during the shoot.

I just updated the firmware and will try this again...
