I have to say that Best Shot Mode, while I initially saw it as just a gimmick on my V1, really is neat. For people, dogs, moving insects in macro mode - a whole range of things - it works well. If you have the flash on (I have the SB-N5, don't know about others), it uses the led light during the period you are buffering the shot, which can be useful for something like macros.

I thought it could be a gimmick but I like the active mode where you select which shots to save. Not sure if the V1 had that.

Great repor,t Ricardo. I have been following your comments. Today's "gimmick" will become tommow's "can't do without". This one is is in my learning schedule.

As seen by someone from before rapid return mirrors and auto diaphrams....LOL
