Well you got a lot of things sorted out already. I own the 4/3 version of the 7-14 and has been shooting ultra wide and fisheye since film days.
4 things to watch out for...

1. Empty foreground

2. Lens flare

3. Distortion: Sometimes it can be creative if you want something surreal but keep the camera/lens combo perpendicular to the subject to minimize distortion

4. Include too much: Often time we are overwhelmed by the coverage of the lens that we did not notice we include too much unwanted elements in the picture. Use your zoom to crop and check left, right, up and down of what is included in the picture.
