It's true, the 55-200 isn't exactly world class glass. I don't think the design really lends itself to action photography -- the focus is too slow, and so is the glass.

Still, it's not a bad lens. The camera does the best it can with it, I think.

Here's another sequence from the session. The dog was running very fast, chasing a rapidly moving ball, and at one point in the pan sequence a human family got in the way. Fortunately, the a6000 didn't get confused.
