I actually agree with him. The Sigma is 3mm bigger even though it's a slower lens (2.8 vs 1.8). If they had designed it specifically for m43 I would think it 'Would' be smaller than its current design.

Still, a great lens though.

Although I use the 14mm I`m not a big fan of the pancakes, I much prefer to have a lens big enough to actually hold and neither the 17 or 19mm are particularly big lenses, size wise there both about right.

If I needed a very small lens then I might get the 20mm, although for a small pocket-able lens + body the 14mm is more useful than a 20mm.
