Ive not seen any issues on my photos.

One of the amazing things I found early on was the shadow detail.
This shot was intended to capture a dramatic sky over a building site:

It wasnt the best shot. The vertical striping is the mesh fence. I shot it wide open, but fast, trying to capture silhouette detail mainly.

I got home, examined it and decided it wasnt what I wanted. c'est la vie.

I did notice 2 bright points on the right though, and as it was raw I thought id try pushing up the exposure, just playing really:

I was amazed at the detail that was captured! Theres a Car over there...

Pushed as far as LightZone will allow (4) on the slider, and then converted to jpg for posting here.

The vertical banding I can forgive, its a very out of focus wire mesh fence. I cant see horizontal bands, and there is a surprising amount of detail in the shadow areas.

Not sure what monitor you might be using but the horizontal banding is pretty obvious on my setup. Very distinct on the dirt mounds and such (not just the fence). In this case though, a little selective De-banding with Topaz or such should easily clean it up enough for print. The color shift/blotching might be a little harder to get rid of.
