6D strange color tone
Apr 17, 2014

I am trying to take pictures of a blue laser through a colloidal liquid. The pictures displayed on the LCD screen have a pinkish color (instead of blue). I have tried to change the white balance, but cannot get the natural blue color of the scene. I am shooting raw, so when I process the files on my computer, they have the right color tone. It seems that the problem arises only with the Jpeg preview which is created to be displayed on the LCD.

However, I am also supposed to make a movie of the scene, and in that case, the movie has the same color tone than what is displayed on the LCD, i.e. pinkish instead of blue. Does anyone have an idea on which of the automatically applied filters could be the cause of this and how to deactivate it?

Thank you for your help!
