Thanks Tom. I honestly don't know the answer to your question. Maybe it was a planet...it was certainly bright compared to other stars in the sky.  I looked at the original image to get a closer look to see if there was any hint of red, but it was blown out.  Maybe there is an astronomer out there that would know.  I shot this in Omaha, NE. at the time shown in the EXIF if that would help any expert out there.
