I seem to remember that when shooting in Auto or Program AE the camera will choose a higher ƒ stop (ƒ13) rather than a slower shutter speed (in the Dp review review) thus causing diffraction. Maybe the cause of the smearing. Thinking out loud is all as I don't have a M4/3 but looking hard at the system.

After thought ...... would I exposure help this .
